In the study area, there are some drillings under the highway of Egnatia Odos. As part of the “EPIPELAGIC” project, a series of measurements were made on them in the summer of 2022.
Some drillings are old wells, usually shallow, sealed, and which could not be measured. The rest were deep water wells that could be measured. Measurements were made with station meters from Thessaloniki Water Supply and Sewerage Company and are presented below.
During the research, a total of 9 wells were utilized, with external and on top of the well (on the metal O-RING) measurements being taken for each well. Additionally, orthometric elevations were measured for each well, and GNSS RTK-based positioning measurements were included in the study.
